The country's largest lender State Bank of India (SBI) has started a new service for its customers. Now enrollment in social security schemes can be done only with an Aadhaar card. The Bank's Chairman Dinesh Khara unveiled an innovative Customer Service Point (CSP) that will enable hassle-free enrollment for social security schemes through Aadhaar.
Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Khara, Chairman, SBI emphasized, “We aim to empower every section of society by removing barriers that hinder access to financial security. Customers on CSP will only need their Aadhaar card to enroll in schemes like Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.
