Thousands of trains run daily in the country. Most of the people travel in a general compartment only. In such a situation, due to the non-availability of food facilities in general class coaches, people used to face a lot of trouble. Well, there is no need to worry anymore. Railways have made arrangements for food for those travelling in the general compartment. That too this facility has been done very cheaply. In such a situation, now you will not have to face any kind of problem during the journey.
In how much rupees will you get food in the general compartment
Passengers travelling in general class are being given a full meal for just Rs.20. We have not given such information but the Railways themselves. At present, Railways has started this facility at 51 stations while there are plans to start it soon at many stations.
Railways will allow you to eat what for 20 rupees
Please tell us that arrangements will be made for this on the platform. Food stalls will be placed on the platform at such a place where general class coaches stop. Passengers are being given seven puris, dry potato curry and pickles for Rs 20. This facility has been named Extended Service Counter and instructions have also been given to all Zonal Railways to make arrangements for it.
Snack meal for Rs 50
Along with puri, potato dry vegetables, rajma rice will also be kept here. It has been named Snacks Meal. This snack meal will also have items like CholeBhature. You will get all this in just Rs.50.
Where did this facility start?
Balasore, Asansol, Jasidih, Durgapur, Madhupur, Sealdah, Katihar, Kharagpur, New Alipurduar, New Cooch Behar, Hijli, New Tinsukia, Raxaul, Samastipur, Dhanbad, Kamakhya, Buxar, Bettiah, Mokama, Narkatiaganj, Bakhuda, Jhakudi, Bakhguda, Bakhudi, Bakhguda, Bakhguda, Bakhguda, Bakhguda, Bakhgud Is Rest of the states will also start this facility soon.
