State Bank of India (SBI) has revised the annual maintenance charges of some debit cards. New maintenance charges will be applicable from April 1, 2024.
If you also have an SBI Debit Card, then you should check once how much maintenance charge you will have to pay on your card from the next month.
Change in maintenance charges of these debit cards
The annual maintenance charge for SBI Classic Debit Card, Silver, Global, and Contactless Debit Card has been increased from Rs 125 to Rs 200 + GST.
The annual maintenance amount of debit cards like SBI Yuva Card, Gold, Combo Debit Card, and My Card has been increased from Rs 175 to Rs 250 + GST.
The annual maintenance charge of the SBI Platinum Debit Card has also increased. The bank has reduced the maintenance charge of this card to Rs 325 + GST. Earlier the maintenance charge on this card was Rs 250 + GST.
The maintenance charge of SBI's Pride Premium Business Debit Card has also increased. Let us tell you that the annual maintenance charge for the Pride Premium Business Debit Card will be Rs 425 + GST from April 1, 2024.
18 percent GST rate is applicable on all cards.
These charges are levied on debit card
Apart from the maintenance charge on debit cards, State Bank of India also charges many other charges from its customers. The customer also has to pay a fee for issuing the debit card. Apart from this, the customer also has to pay debit card replacement charges, regeneration of PIN, and international transaction charges.
