Reliance JioBook Laptop is all set to be launched soon. While there has been no official announcement, the Amazon India website is running a teaser of the upcoming laptop showing its launch date as July 31.

Some specifications have also been shared in the teaser advertisement. Reliance launched JioBook in October 2022. The upcoming JioBook could come as its successor and looks quite similar to the older model. It seems the company is targeting the upcoming college opening season across the country with this launch. Let's talk about the special things related to it.

Price under Rs 20,000
The Reliance JioBook laptop is likely to be priced under Rs 20,000. The current generation JioBook is priced at Rs 15,799. That's why it is speculated that the price of the upcoming laptop will also not be high.

With Always-on 4G
The teaser states that the JioBook will come with Always-on 4G. This means that the laptop will come with an embedded Jio SIM card. However, users can also connect the laptop to Wi-Fi. Connectivity options on the current-generation JioBook include a 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, and HDMI mini. These will likely be in the upcoming JioBook as well.

Works on JioOS
It has been learned that the upcoming JioBook will run on JioOS. There is a JioStore in this OS, which gives users access to many third-party apps.

The device will come with an octa-core processor
The teaser does not reveal the processor that the upcoming JioBook will run on, it only states that it will be an octa-core processor. To recall, the older device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, paired with Adreno 610 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It also offers 32GB of eMMC storage, which can be expanded up to 128 GB.

All-day battery life
The teaser claims JioBook's all-day battery life. The current generation gets a 5,000mAh battery. It has been claimed to have a battery life of up to 8 hours on a single charge. There is a possibility that the upcoming JioBook may also support it.

Weighing less than 1 kg
The Reliance JioBook weighs 990 grams, which makes it less than 1KG. The laptop is also claimed to have a fanless chassis.

Same design and color as the older model
From the images shared in the teaser, the JioBook laptop is tipped to have a design similar to the current generation. In terms of display, the older JioBook laptop sports an 11.6-inch HD display with wide bezels. There is a 2-megapixel front camera for video calls. The color shown in the teaser is blue, which is similar to the color of the current laptop.

The device is targeted at students
Teased with the tagline 'Your Ultimate Learning Partner', the JioBook laptop seems to be targeted at students. It is likely to be able to handle basic tasks like browsing and online classes.

Available on Amazon for the first time
This is the first time that Jio Laptop will be available on Amazon. As of now, most Jio devices are available only through Reliance Digital Stores (both online and offline).
