If you enjoy cutlets, we have a healthy and tasty recipe to share with you. You might have eaten potato cutlets, but we are going to tell you about the recipe for raw banana cutlets. Raw bananas are not only delicious but also provide many health benefits, making these cutlets a nutritious option. These aid digestion and are a great option for your breakfast or tea-time snack. Material:
3-4 raw bananas
2-3 green chillies
1/2 cup flour
A small bowl of green peas
1 tsp red chilli powder
Salt as per taste
1 tsp roasted cumin powder
Bread crumbs
Cooking oil for frying
Recipe :
First of all, cut the raw banana into pieces without peeling it. Place them in a saucepan with water and bring to a boil.
When the bananas are ripe, remove them from the flame. Mash the boiled peas or cook them lightly and keep them aside.
In a bowl, mix flour, mashed raw bananas, and cooked peas. Mash them together well.
Add red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, finely chopped green chilies, and salt as per taste to this mixture. Mix well.
If the mixture is too dry, you can add some water to it. Now shape this mixture into small balls.
You can give the cutlets any shape you want. Flatten the banana mixture into the desired shape using your palms.
Place bread pieces on a plate and wrap each cutlet with them. Wrap all the cutlets in the same manner.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
When the oil is hot, add 3-4 cutlets at a time and fry until golden brown on both sides.
You can also shallow fry them in a pan with some oil. Serve them hot with green or red chutney.
