Many people like the taste of kheer. Many people's mouths water on hearing its name. Rice is the main ingredient in kheer, but the method of making it is unique. It is not only delicious but also quite healthy. You can try making Rabri Wali Kheer at home on any special occasion. However, it requires some time to prepare.
Material:
Rabdi – 250 grams
Rice - 50 grams
Cardamom powder – half teaspoon
Sugar - 100 grams
Milk – 1 liter
Raisins – a handful
Almonds – a few
Cashews – a few
Method:
First of all, clean and wash the rice thoroughly. Soak it in water for half an hour.
Later remove the water and grind the soaked rice coarsely. Place the milk in a large pan and boil it.
When the milk boils, add ground rice to it and mix well while stirring. Keep the flame at medium level.
Keep stirring the milk continuously and let it boil every 1-2 minutes. Keep the flame medium.
Cut cashews and almonds into fine pieces.
When the rice is cooked and the milk and rice combine, add chopped cashews, almonds, and raisins to the kheer.
When the rice and dry fruits become soft and the kheer becomes thick, turn off the flame.
Add sugar to the kheer add cardamom powder and mix. Keep the kheer covered for 2-3 minutes so that the sugar dissolves.
After some time, open the kheer and stir it well.
Before adding rabri to the kheer, let it cool down a bit. Mix well, kheer is ready.
Take it out in a beautiful bowl, garnish with finely chopped cashews and almonds, and serve.
