Moong dal is considered a treasure of nutrition. At the same time, the consumption of protein-rich moong dal is very beneficial for health. Moong dal is also eaten sprouted. If you are tired of eating sprouts daily, then you can make spicy and delicious cheela from moong dal sprouts. Usually, people soak moong dal in water before sleeping at night. Ingredients required:

1 1/2 cups soaked moong dal,

1 cup finely chopped spinach,

1/2 cup gram flour,

2-3 tbsp oil,

1 pinch asafoetida,

1/4 tsp carom seeds,

1/2 tsp red chilli. powder,

1/2 tsp coriander powder,

2 finely chopped green chillies,

one-inch grated ginger and

1/2 tsp salt

To make sprouts cheela, first grind the sprouts in a mixer grinder. Now add gram flour in a bowl. Then add water to it and make gram flour. After this add sprouts cheela paste in the bowl. Now add spinach, asafoetida, red chili, coriander powder, green chili, ginger, and salt. Mix everything well. If the cheela batter is too thick, you can add some more water. This will provide stability to the batter and your cheela will be perfect. When the chili paste is ready, heat the pan on the gas. Now pour some oil on it and spread it on the pan.

After heating the pan well, add 1 spoon of chili mixture it and rotate it in a circular motion. Now pour some oil around the cheela and cover it and leave it to cook. After 2-3 minutes, remove the lid and check. After the cheela is cooked, turn it over and cook from the other side also. When the cheela turns golden brown, remove it from the pan. Your sprouts cheela is ready. Serve breakfast with tomato sauce or green chutney.
