Halwa is a major Indian sweet made in homes. This is a delicious dish that takes less time to prepare and has a very attractive taste. Halwa can be made in many different ways, and a variety of ingredients can be used to enhance its flavor. Today we will tell you the recipe of Almond Halwa. This halwa is made on special occasions and tastes amazing. Almonds are used in almond halwa, which is rich in many nutrients.

Ingredients:

Boiled and peeled almonds – 300 grams

Sugar – one and a half cups

Green cardamom powder – 1 teaspoon

Saffron – 8 threads

Ghee – half cup

Milk – 1 cup

Recipe:

First of all, soak the almonds overnight. Peel the soaked almonds and grind them in a grinder jar.

Add 2 teaspoons of milk to the jar to make a thick paste.

Take a deep bottom pan and keep it on medium flame. You can also use a kadhai, it is as per your preference.

Now melt ghee in the pan and add almond paste to it.

Stirring well, cook the almond paste until it turns golden and brown.

Then add the remaining milk with sugar in the pan and cook for about 10 minutes.

After this, remove the pan from the flame and sprinkle cardamom powder along with saffron on it.

If you have silver work, you can decorate the halwa with it. Serve it hot.
