PC: Make delicious food at home
Many people like the taste of almond shakes. But to date, you must have bought and drank almond shakes from outside. Today we have brought you the recipe to make it at home.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 3 cups milk
- 4-5 tbsp sugar (as per taste)
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- saffron threads (optional)
- ice cubes (optional)

Instruction:
- Soak almonds in warm water for about 15-20 minutes. This will help in removing the skin of the almonds easily.
- Drain the water and peel off the almonds.
- In a blender, add peeled almonds and some milk. Blend until you get a smooth paste.
- In a saucepan, heat the remaining milk over medium heat.
- Add almond paste to the milk and stir well.
- Add sugar and cardamom powder. Keep stirring continuously till the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes hot.
- Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool.
- Once cooled, transfer the mixture to a blender and blend again for a few seconds for a smooth texture.
- If required, add a few strands of saffron for extra flavor. You can also add some ice cubes for a chilled shake.
- Blend again for a while to combine everything together.
- Pour the almond shake into glasses and serve immediately.
