During the festival of Navratri, devotees observe fast to honor Goddess Durga and perform puja (puja). If you want some salty and spicy snacks during these fasting days, there are many delicious fruit snacks that you can enjoy. One such option is Sabudana Cutlets, which are easy to make and delicious. Let's learn how to make this recipe.
Material:
1 cup sago
4 boiled potatoes
1/2 cup roasted peanuts
2 green chillies finely chopped
1 tsp ginger paste
Fresh green coriander finely chopped
Rock salt as per taste
Oil as required
Recipe
First of all, wash the sago thoroughly with your hands 3-4 times. Then, place a pan on the stove, add peanuts to it, and start roasting them. When the peanuts are roasted well, remove their peels and grind them coarsely with the help of a blender. Take out the peanut mixture in a bowl and keep aside. Apart from this, boil the potatoes, peel them, then mash them.
When the sago gets soaked and becomes soft, mix it with all the ingredients and knead the dough with your hands. In this process, your sago will also swell well. Squeeze out excess water from the mixture and take it out in a bowl. Add mashed potatoes, coarsely ground peanuts, ginger paste, chopped green chilies, finely chopped fresh coriander, and rock salt. Mix everything well.
Now make small round balls of this mixture and press them with your hands to shape them into patties.
After this, heat the oil in a pan on the stove. When the oil becomes hot, add prepared sabudana tikkis into it and start frying. When they become golden brown on both sides, take them out of the pan.
Serve these sago cutlets with curd or vrat-friendly green chutney. Enjoy it.
