Coconut barfi is most common during auspicious occasions in Indian households. It is very tasty to eat. Today we have brought its recipe and you can easily make it at home. Let us know about its recipe.

Material:

1 cup grated coconut

1 tbsp ghee

3/4 cup khoya

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

Greased plate for making barfi

Recipe:

First of all, heat a pan and add ghee and khoya to it. Fry the khoya until it turns golden brown.

Take it off the flame and let it cool. Add grated coconut to it and keep it aside.

In another pan, heat water and sugar together on low flame. Keep stirring continuously until the sugar dissolves completely.

Reduce the flame to medium and let the syrup boil. Cook it until it reaches a string consistency. To test this, take a drop of syrup between your fingers; When separated it should form a single thread.

When the sugar syrup reaches the desired consistency, add the khoya and coconut mixture to it. Keep stirring continuously.

The mixture will start to set as you mix it, so work quickly.

Take out the mixture on a greased plate and flatten it to the desired thickness to make barfi.

Let it cool and set.

When it cools down, cut the mixture into pieces with a sharp knife.

Your homemade coconut barfi is ready to enjoy.
