The biggest reason for increasing cholesterol is mistakes in eating habits. Winter is the season when people like unhealthy fats, sweet dishes, mutton and fried food. These foods start getting deposited in the arteries in the form of cholesterol.

At the same time, physical activity also reduces compared to summer. Often people like to sit in one place. Due to this, bad cholesterol starts accumulating in the veins. Due to this the blood flow is disrupted. On the other hand, due to cold the arteries get narrowed. Due to this also the blood flow gets disrupted. All these factors are responsible for increasing blood pressure. If the problem worsens, the risk of heart attack increases. People who already have heart disease or complain of cholesterol should focus on exercise along with diet in winter.
