This way you can check whether your name has been removed from the ration card:-
step 1
The list of ration cards is updated from time to time, in such a situation, if your name has been cut, then many times your ration dealer gives this information.
But if you do not know about this, then to check you can visit the official website of the scheme nfsa.gov.in/Default.aspx
Step 2
After going to the portal, you will see the option of 'Ration Card', on which you have to click.
Then you have to select the option 'Ration Card Details On State Portals'
After this, you have to select your state, district, block name, and then Panchayat.
Step 3
Now you have to select the name of your ration shop, the name of the shopkeeper, and then the type of your ration card.
After this, a list will open in front of you, in which you have to see your name.
If your name is not there, it could be because your name has been cut off.
If the name is deleted, it can be added like this:-
If the name has been struck off from the ration card, then visit your ration card dealer or go to the nearest food supply department.
Go here and fill out the name re-addition form and attach a copy of the relevant documents.
Then submit the form, after which your name is added again.
