Ramadan 2023: Ramadan, the holiest month of Islam, started on 24 April i.e. today. The people of the Muslim community keep fast during this whole month. They take food and water only after sunrise and sunset. Sehri is done before sunrise in the morning and Iftar is done after the evening prayer. Ramadan lasts for about thirty days. People who keep a complete fast usually start feeling very weak. The reason behind this is not to do Sehri and Iftar properly. That is, if attention is paid to the food eaten in Sehri and Iftar, then this problem can be avoided.

So let's know what to eat during Sehri
Keep your food light during Sehri and include healthy things only.

Eat food in the morning that is rich in fiber. Eat fruits such as apples, pears, grapes, beans, and whole grains, as they are rich in fiber. Fiber keeps the stomach full for a long time. Due to this, you will also get enough energy for the whole day.

Try to eat lentils and curd while having Sehri. Curd keeps digestion fine and also gives a sufficient amount of calcium. Along with this, by eating all types of pulses, the body also gets enough protein.

Consuming dairy products in the morning can also give good energy for the whole day. Drinking raw paneer or milk in the morning will also keep your stomach full for a long time. You can drink a glass of milk even after eating something for Sehri or eat three to four pieces of paneer.

Dates are eaten in both Sehri and Iftar. This is because dates keep the stomach full for a long time along with giving energy to the body. By eating this you will not feel hungry for many hours. Apart from dates, you can also eat dry fruits like cashew nuts, almonds, raisins, etc.

Drink a glass of water half an hour before eating something in Sehri and then drink water only half an hour after eating. Do not drink too much water before eating otherwise the stomach will be full and you will not be able to eat.

Never eat heavy foods in Sehri, otherwise, it may cause indigestion.
