Ingredients for making Ghevar
Flour - 2 cups
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1/4 cup
Water - 1 cup
Mawa
Ice cubes - 4-5
Sugar - 2 cups
Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Saffron - 10-12 strands
Ghee (for frying)

Method
To prepare the batter of Ghevar, first, take flour in a large bowl. Now add ghee and ice cubes to it. Mix it well till the ghee and flour are well mixed. After this, add milk and water little by little and keep mixing continuously. When its thin batter is ready, keep it aside. There should not be any kind of lumps in it.
Now for this, you have to prepare syrup. To make syrup, add sugar and 1 cup water to a pan. After the sugar is dissolved well, add cardamom powder and saffron to it. Keep it warm on low flame. When the syrup is ready, keep it aside. Now heat ghee in a deep pan. The amount of ghee should be enough so that the Ghevar can be immersed in it.

Now pour the batter of Ghevar in the center of the pan with a big spoon or a bowl. Slowly keep pouring the batter in the center so that the Ghevar becomes circular. As soon as the Ghevar starts getting ready after it turns golden, take it out of the pan and keep it on a napkin to remove its excess ghee.

Now put the prepared Ghevar in the syrup and leave it for a few seconds so that the syrup gets absorbed well in the Ghevar. Remove the Ghevar from the syrup and keep it on a plate. Finally, apply mawa on it and decorate it with pistachio and almond pieces.
