There is a good opportunity for the youth who are searching for jobs in Indian Railways. Rail Coach Factory Kapurthala has announced vacancies for the posts of apprentice under various trades. A total of 550 apprentice posts will be recruited under the Rail Coach Factory. Candidates willing to apply can apply online through the official website on or before 11.59 pm on April 9, 2024. Selection of candidates will be based on a merit list which will be prepared based on a percentage of marks in Matriculation (with a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done.
Age limit for filling form in railways
The age limit of the candidates applying for these posts should be between 15 years to 24 years as of 31.03.2024. There is a maximum age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST candidates and 03 years relaxation for OBC candidates. There is a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit for disabled persons.
Application fee has to be paid to apply to Railways
Candidates who are applying for these posts will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. Whereas SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates will not have to pay any fee.
