What is premature menopause?

DrTanushree Pandey told that when women do not have continuous periods for one year, then this condition is called menopause. In today's time, cases of pre-mature menopause are being seen in women all over the world. However, menopause should occur between the ages of 45-50. But now menopause is being seen in some women at the age of 40, sometimes even around 35 years.

Reasons for premature menopause

It is very important to have the right lifestyle and stay away from stress for healthy periods. The number of eggs present in women is fixed, it cannot be increased. In such a situation, stress, smoking, improper sleeping patterns, obesity, things happening in everyday life and taking alcohol affect it and this can lead to premature menopause.

Symptoms of premature menopause

Symptoms of premature menopause include missing periods for 3-4 months. If you haven't had periods for a long time, it could be a symptom of early menopause. On the other hand, if you are having period cramps every 10 days and periods are coming before 28-30 days, then this is also a symptom of premature menopause. Doctors tell that if a woman is between the age of 30-35 and has been trying to conceive for about a year, but is finding it difficult to do so, then a doctor must be consulted.

How to prevent premature menopause?

No doctor can claim that it is possible to prevent premature menopause although some lifestyle changes can affect it. A healthy diet, correct BMI (body mass index), avoiding smoking and drinking, exercising, staying away from stress and avoiding junk food is considered good. Along with this, medical advice is also necessary from time to time so that if you see any early symptoms of menopause, then it can be dealt with.
