Sugar level according to age
-If your age is more than 18 years, then it should be 140 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL) one or two hours after eating food. If you are fasting then 99 mg/dL is considered healthy. If sugar increases more than this then you should immediately consult a doctor otherwise there may be a health risk.
-If you are 40 years old then you should get your blood checked regularly because the risk is very high at this age. For people aged between 40 to 50, the fasting sugar level should be 90 to 130 mg/dL, while after eating, this level should be less than 140 mg/dl and after dinner, it should be up to 150.
How to control sugar
If you have diabetes then your sugar level will have to be controlled at all costs. For this you can increase physical activities, if you make a habit of walking daily then it will be very good for health. As far as diet is concerned, you should avoid oily food, sweet things and processed food items as much as possible.
