There are many types of schemes in the country for all sections. From women to the elderly, both the central and state governments are running many types of schemes at their own level, which benefit the people. These include many schemes like free ration benefits, housing schemes, and Ayushman card facilities. One such scheme was started by the central government on September 17 last year, which is called Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana. 18 traditional trades have been linked to this scheme, but do you know about this scheme in detail? Scheme Name- Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana
Who gets the benefit- 18 traditional trades included
Who runs the scheme- The central government operates this scheme.
These people are considered eligible to join the scheme:-
If you want to join the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, then first of all the age of the applicant must be at least 18 years
Hammer and toolkit makers, masons, boat builders, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, weapon makers and sculptors
If you are a tailor, locksmith, barber, garland maker, basket/mat/broom maker, stone breaker,
Cobbler/shoe maker, doll and toy maker, washerman, stone carver, fishing net maker.
After joining the scheme, you get these benefits:-
If you join the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, you are given training for which there is a provision of a stipend of Rs 500 per day
Rs 15,000 is given to buy a toolkit
A loan of Rs 3 lakh (first a loan of Rs 1 lakh and then an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh) is given without guarantee and at a cheap interest rate.
