At present the Central Government is running many different schemes. It includes many types of schemes for farmers and other sections. In this series, on September 17, the Central Government started another new scheme, named Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal Samman Yojana. Under this scheme, a plan has been made to include 18 traditional businesses and provide them with benefits. In such a situation, if you also want to get benefits by joining this scheme, then it becomes important for you to know who is eligible for it and what benefits you will get after joining the scheme. Know these things:-
If you want to apply for the scheme, then first of all you must be 18 years of age.
At the same time, you can go to your nearest public service center to apply.
Who can avail of the benefits?
Mason, boat builder,
Locksmiths, gunsmiths,
Sculptors, stone carvers,
Stone breakers, hammer and toolkit manufacturers,
Blacksmiths, goldsmiths, doll and toy makers,
Cobbler/shoe artisans,
Fishing Net Manufacturers and Barbers, Malakars, Washermen, Tailors,
People making baskets/mats/brooms are eligible for this scheme.
Benefits after joining the scheme:-
People joining the scheme will be given a stipend of Rs 500 per day. Basic skill training will also be provided
15 thousand rupees will be given, from which the beneficiaries will buy the goods (toolkit) they need.
There is a loan arrangement like first Rs 1 lakh and then on repaying it you will get a loan of Rs 2 lakh and that too at affordable interest rates.
Facilities like incentives will also be provided.
