What's the plan?
Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana was launched on 17 September 2023 for people involved in 18 traditional trades. After joining this scheme, these people can avail financial benefits and also skill training. The objective of this scheme is to empower these people.

Who can join the scheme?
If you are doll and toy manufacturer
People who are gunsmiths or sculptors
People who carve stones
There are locksmiths, barbers, garland makers, and washermen.
Those who are goldsmiths or fishing net makers and basket/mat/broom makers
You are the hammer and toolkit maker
There are masons, boatbuilders, blacksmiths
Cobblers/shoemakers are artisans and tailors are
If you are a doll and toy manufacturer.

You can apply like this:-
Eligible people should first go to the nearest public service center.
Here give the requested documents to the officer, who are checked.
After this, your eligibility will be checked and then when found correct, your application is made.

Beneficiaries get these benefits:-
Skill training is given, in return for which a daily stipend of Rs 500 is given.
Incentive facility
Provision of giving Rs 15 thousand for purchasing toolkit
First loan of Rs 1 lakh and then an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh without any guarantee and at affordable interest rates.
