There is a great good news for poor students. The government has started a very special scheme to provide education loans to financially weak students. The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Vidya Lakshmi Yojana. Under this scheme, the Government of India will give an education loan of Rs 10 lakh to the students of the family with an annual income of Rs 8 lakh or less.

What are the eligibility conditions of PM Vidya Lakshmi Yojana?
Students whose family income is less than Rs 8 lakh per annum can avail the benefits of this scheme. Under the scheme, the Government of India will give a 75 percent guarantee for loans up to Rs 7.5 lakh.
The NIRF ranking of the college in which the student is taking admission should be 100. Apart from this, the ranking of the college at the state level must be up to 200. Apart from this, it is also necessary for the college to be government.
