PM Ujjwala Yojana: Government is now giving subsidy of Rs 300 on LPG cylinder, know who will get the benefit

Where once upon a time people used to cook food on wood, now people cook food on stove with the help of an LPG cylinder. It requires less effort and the food gets prepared quickly. What is the good news?
The Central Government gave a big gift to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana last evening. Under this, the subsidy on LPG cylinders has been increased to Rs 300 for the beneficiaries associated with the scheme, that is, from now on they will get a discount of Rs 300 on purchasing the cylinder.

Whereas, earlier the beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana were given a subsidy of Rs 200 by the Central Government. It was announced on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, but now it has been increased to Rs 300.

What did Anurag Thakur say?
Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur announced the new LPG subsidy in a press conference. He said, 'Earlier our government had given a subsidy of Rs 200, the sisters of the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme will get a subsidy of Rs 300 instead of Rs 200.'

After the subsidy of Rs 200 in the country's capital Delhi, the beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana are getting a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder for Rs 703. At the same time, after the new subsidy of Rs 300, the same cylinder will now be available for Rs 603.
