PM Kisan Yojana: Will the 17th installment come in June as soon as the Modi government is formed? Know the farmers here

The farmers of the country have been waiting for the 17th installment since the release of the 16th installment. The 16th installment was released on 28 February 2024, which was released by then-Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Every four months, an installment of Rs 2,000 under the scheme is released. What is the rule for releasing the installment?

Actually, under the PM Kisan Yojana, every installment comes at an interval of about four months. Like- the 16th installment was released on 28 February. In such a situation, as per the rules, now the time for the release of the next installment i.e. 17th installment is in June.

At the same time, till now no update has been received regarding the 17th installment because the Lok Sabha elections were going on in the country. However, now these elections are over and the NDA has chosen Narendra Modi as its leader and now he will take oath as the Prime Minister on 9 June 2024 at 6 pm.

In such a situation, it is believed that after the formation of the government, the 17th installment can be released in the last week of June. However, no information has been revealed officially yet.

How much money is available?

Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, there is a provision to give 6 thousand rupees annually to eligible farmers and this money is given in three installments of Rs 2-2 thousand. At the same time, farmers who want to get the benefit of the installment will have to get other necessary work done like e-KYC and land verification. You can get e-KYC done from your nearest CSC center or you can do it yourself from the official portal of the scheme pmkisan.gov.in. Farmers who do not get these works done may be deprived of the benefits of the installment.
