Understand the plan first
Actually, PM Kisan Yojana is run by the Central Government for poor and needy farmers, in which they are provided financial help. Under the scheme, Rs 6,000 is given annually and this money is given in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
When was the 16th installment released?
The 16th installment was released on 28 February 2024, in which the money of the 16th installment was transferred to the bank accounts of 9 crore farmers. The installment money has been sent directly to the bank accounts of the farmers through DBT.
When can the 17th installment be released?
As per the rules, the money for each installment is released at an interval of 4 months. For example, the 16th installment was released on 28 February 2024. In such a situation, the 17th installment may be released in June. However, no official information has been revealed regarding this yet.
At the same time, there is an election atmosphere in the country and due to the code of conduct, the 17th installment can be released any time after June 4, 2024 (the date of release of election results). This information is given in advance by the government.
