The Central Government runs a beneficial welfare scheme for the farmers, named Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, eligible farmers are given Rs 6,000 annually. At the same time, this money is sent to the bank account of the beneficiaries through DBT in the form of three installments of Rs 2,000 each every four months. Till now, a total of 16 installments have been given, and this time the 17th installment is to be released. In such a situation, the question is whether in a family both husband and wife can get the benefit of installment or not. So without any delay let us try to know the answer to this question. Farmers can know about this in the next slides...
When can the 17th installment come?
On February 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred the 16th installment to the bank accounts of 9 crore farmers through DBT. Under the scheme, the installment is given every four months. In such a situation, after February, the next i.e. 17th installment may be released in June-July.
Can both husband and wife get benefits?
If you join the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, then there are some rules for it. For example, in this scheme, only one member of the family can benefit by joining the scheme. In such a situation, both husband and wife do not get benefits.
For some reason, if more than one person from the same family applies for this scheme, their application is canceled. At the same time, the applicant must be eligible and must have relevant documents.
After joining the scheme, it is important to get these things done:-
After joining the scheme, it is mandatory to get e-KYC done
Farmers have to get land verification done
You have to link your bank account with Aadhaar etc.
