Agriculture is a major sector of India's economy. Today, agriculture is the main source of livelihood for crores of people. However, since independence, the central and state governments have been running many schemes to increase agricultural production in the country and increase the income of farmers. Even after this, crores of farmers in the country are financially very weak today.

Given this, the central government is running a very ambitious scheme to provide financial assistance to the farmers. The name of this scheme is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the Government of India is providing financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand to the poor farmers of the country every year. The financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand annually is sent through a total of three installments. Under each installment, the government sends an amount of Rs 2 thousand to the farmers' account through DBT.

So far, the central government has released a total of 18 installments of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. On October 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 18th installment of the scheme in Washim district of Maharashtra.

More than 2 months have passed since the release of the 18th installment. In such a situation, crores of farmers of the country are now waiting for the 19th installment of the scheme. Crores of farmers in the country want to know when the central government can transfer the 19th installment of the scheme to the farmers' account.

When can the 19th installment come?

If media reports are to be believed, the Government of India can release the 19th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in the month of February next year. However, the government has not officially announced the dates for transferring the installment money.

Can farmers who cultivate on others' land take advantage of this scheme?

At the same time, many farmers in the country often have this question that can those farmers who cultivate on others' land also take advantage of this scheme? Farmers who cultivate on others' land do not get the benefit of this scheme. The benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is available only to those farmers who have 2 hectares or less cultivable land.
