Many people opt for cosmetic treatments, Botox etc. for this. The best thing for anti-ageing is to pay attention to your skin in advance. DIY treatments for wrinkles, loss of elasticity, and sagging skin are readily available and even easier to take care of.
We spoke to beauty expert Shahnaz Husain and tried to know what can be done to increase the elasticity of the skin. If the skin has started feeling too loose or dull then what should be done about it? She told us about several tips which can prove to be beneficial for you.
Note: If the skin has started sagging too much, then these tips will not work, in which case you will need cosmetic treatments, for which a doctor should be consulted.
Treat sagging skin with green tea
You can also give some support to the sagging skin with the help of green tea. It is rich in antioxidants and hence it can help in removing toxins from the skin.
Put 2 teaspoons of green tea in a ceramic utensil and add hot water to it. Leave it like this for 2 minutes and then filter the liquid and cool it. Apply it on the face with the help of cotton. It can also prove to be very good for correcting skin tone. Let it get absorbed into your skin and then wash it off.
Treat sagging skin with exfoliation
If your skin is sagging and the layer of dead skin is accumulated then it will cause wrinkles. For this, you can use some scrubs which can prove to be very helpful to tone the skin. For this you use sesame.
- Crush the sesame seeds to make a coarse powder. Add honey to it and it will work as a great scrub for you.
- You can also do skin exfoliation by mixing dry mint leaves or almond powder with curd.
- Apply it on your face in a circular motion and then wash it off with water.
Treat sagging skin with the help of fruits-
You can also use natural fruits to give your skin an anti-ageing glow.
Mix and mash fruits like banana, papaya, watermelon, and apple etc. and apply this paste on your face. This will prove to be very good for all skin types.
Papaya contains many enzymes which cleanse the skin and renew cells by removing dead skin cells. Bananas tighten the skin and apples and oranges can prove to be great in terms of vitamins and minerals. Watermelon also hydrates the skin. This pack should be kept on your skin for 30 minutes.
Anti-ageing face mask for radiant skin
It is very important to add radiance to the skin. If the skin does not shine, then wrinkles will be more visible. In this case, take half a teaspoon of wheat germ oil, 2 drops of geranium oil, 2 teaspoons of oats, and 1 teaspoon of ground almonds and rose water and apply it on your face.
This pack is rich in Vitamin E and it can be considered a very powerful pack for anti-ageing.
Pack for anti-ageing of hands-
Your hands also start looking old very quickly and the skin here also deteriorates very quickly. In such a situation, it is very important to pack them properly.
Mix 2 teaspoons of mustard oil and 3 teaspoons of sugar well until a paste is formed. Rub it well on the skin of your hands and wash it after 15 minutes.
All these DIY tips can prove to be very useful for you, but if your home remedies do not suit you or you are allergic to any ingredient, then you should try them only on the advice of a doctor.
