We will know about the 18th installment, but before that know that till now a total of 17 installments have been given to the farmers, in which more than 9 crore eligible farmers got this benefit. At the same time, now the next turn is for the 18th installment.
When can the government tell the date?
All the installments released under the PM Kisan Yojana are released at an interval of about 4 months. Where you will see that the last installment i.e. the 17th installment was released on 18 June 2024. In such a situation, the 18th installment is to be released at an interval of four months.
By the way, till now the government has not made any announcement regarding the date of the 18th installment nor has any information been given on the official website. But it is believed that the government can soon tell the date of release of the 18th installment. This is because the four-month time period for the release of the 18th installment is ending in October. Therefore, it is believed that the government can choose a date in October on which it will send the installment money to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers who are eligible are given Rs 2,000 in each installment. By doing this, each farmer is given a total benefit of Rs 6,000 annually. The government transfers this money directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT.
