Whenever it comes to travel, a large section of the country is seen traveling by Indian trains. Every day a large number of people travel by train to reach their destination. Indian Railways is considered to be very comfortable. Due to the presence of things like comfort seats, AC facility, toilet arrangements, and food on the train, it makes the journey of the people easy. So you just have to book a train ticket and after that, you can leave for your journey, but have you noticed while booking the ticket that IRCTC does not give you the option to choose the seat as you get on the bus? But maybe you do not know the reason behind this, so let's know what can be the reason behind this. You can know about this in detail in the next slides...
Why is there no permission to choose the seat?
IRCTC does not give the option to the passengers to choose the seat. This happens because when you book a ticket for a cinema hall, that place is stationary, but the train is not stationary and is moving. In such a situation, permission is not given to choose a seat to balance the weight on the train.
You can understand it like this that if a train has sleeper coaches from S1, S2, S3, S4 to S10 and every train coach has 72-72 seats. In such a situation, when a person books a train ticket for the first time, then IRCTC's software or app will give you a seat in the middle compartment of the train.
IRCTC's website and app have been designed in such a way that it will book the lower berth first. This is so that the center of gravity remains low. At the same time, by giving seats in the middle compartment first, the work of balancing the weight and equality in the train is done.
Whenever a person books a train ticket, IRCTC's software books the seats in such a way that tickets are booked equally by all the coaches. This helps in maintaining the balance of the train. If this is not done, the center force in the train will increase and there will be a greater possibility of the train derailing.
