In such a situation, what if someone suddenly has to travel by train like this, can he travel without a ticket? Let's know the answer to this question...

First of all, understand that according to the rule of Indian Railways, no one can travel on a train without a ticket. Anyone found doing so can be fined or jailed or in many cases both.

This method can come in handy if you travel suddenly
Sometimes if you suddenly have to go somewhere by train for some important work and you do not even have a train ticket, then you can do one thing. All you have to do is buy a platform ticket and you can board the train through that.

Wherein, when you board the train with a platform ticket, then you have to tell the TTE present on the train the reason for your sudden journey. After this, wherever you want to go, TTE makes your ticket there.

However, if you do not have a confirmed train ticket for the journey, you will be fined Rs 250 in addition to the ticket. At the same time, if any seat is vacant, TTE gives you that seat, after which you can complete your journey comfortably.
