Ingredients:
- 300 g paneer
- 2 tbsp cornflour/maida
- 5 tomatoes
- 1 cup cream
- 10-15 cashews
- 10-15 almonds
- 1 tbsp pistachio chips
- a spoonful of raisins
- one teaspoon of coriander powder
- ¼ tsp red chili powder
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp garam masala
- 1 teaspoon kasoori methi
- one teaspoon of ginger paste
- a pinch of asafoetida
- half teaspoon cumin
- 2-3 green chilies
- coriander leaves chopped
- oil as required
- salt to taste
process :
- First of all, cut square pieces of cheese one and a half to two inches wide and half an inch thick.
- For stuffing, make a little paneer powder and add chopped dry fruits and salt as per taste.
- Now take a pinch of salt in the cornflour in a vessel and make a thick solution by adding water.
- After this, cut the pieces of paneer lightly from the middle and prepare it like a sandwich by filling the stuffing with paneer-dry fruits.
- Heat oil in a pan, add paneer sandwich, and deep fry till golden brown.
- Now grind tomatoes, green chilies, and coriander and make a paste.
- Heat some oil in a pan and add cumin, asafoetida, ginger paste, and tomato paste and fry it.
- Now add all the dry spices except garam masala, mix well and fry for some time.
- When the masala is cooked well, add fresh cream to it and then add a cup of water for some time.
- After the gravy starts boiling, add the fried paneer sandwich and mix it well.
- Finally, add garam masala and salt as per taste and garnish with green coriander leaves and serve it.
