If you get any work done, then you need many types of documents. For example, if you open an account in the bank, then it is also necessary to have documents like an Aadhaar card, and PAN card along with a photo. A PAN card comes in the list of essential documents because without it, many of your work can get stuck. If you want to take a loan, open a bank account, transact money, etc., then you need a PAN card. In such a situation, if your PAN card is ever lost or stolen, then you do not have to worry because you can apply for a PAN card again for just Rs 50. Here's the method:-
Step 1
If your PAN card is lost or stolen, you can get it re-generated
For this, you have to first go to the official website of NSDL
After visiting the website, you have to enter your PAN number, Aadhaar number, and other requested information like date of birth.
Step 2
Then you have to drop the GSTN number and then click on T and C
Now enter the captcha code and then click on submit
By doing this, all your information will come in front of you.
Here you have to fill in your address and pin code, your new PAN card will be generated at this address.
Step 3
An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number or email ID to verify the address entered by you
You have to enter this received OTP
Then you have to pay a fee of Rs 50 online, after which you have to click on submit
Step 4
As soon as you make the online payment, then after that, you will reach the PAN card website.
Here you will go ahead and get a slip, keep it carefully
Then within a few days, your PAN card comes to your home.
