If you see, almost everyone has an Aadhaar card which contains the demographic and biometric information of the cardholder. It contains other information like name, date of birth, and address. Also, there is a unique number which is called the Aadhaar card number. This Aadhaar card is needed for everything from getting KYC done to opening a bank account.
If you also have an Aadhaar card, then many of your works get done quickly, whereas, if it is not there, many works can get stuck. Meanwhile, if your Aadhaar card is 10 years old, then you also have to get it updated, the last date of which is tomorrow. Why should you get it done today - Those who have not got their Aadhaar updated till now can get it updated today as tomorrow is the last day. At the same time, the portal may also be down tomorrow because more people will get it updated. Apart from this, it also takes a few days for Aadhaar to be updated.

This is how you can update your Aadhaar card for free:-
Step 1
Today and tomorrow are the only days left to update your Aadhaar for free
So if you have not updated your Aadhaar yet, then you can visit the official website of UIDAI https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
Here you have to click on login, after which you have to enter your Aadhaar number
You also have to fill in the captcha code given on the screen
Step 2
Then an OTP will come on the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar card, which you have to enter here and log in.
Now your profile opens in front of you where you have to click on the option of 'Update Aadhaar Card'
After this, you have to upload some documents here like a photo ID and an address proof.
Step 3
Now you choose your PAN card or any other document for the photo ID
After this, you have to choose the address proof in which you can upload the electricity bill or You can choose any other document
Upload both these documents here, while keeping in mind that the file size of the document should not exceed 2 MB
Then submit it after which your Aadhaar card gets updated within a few days
