Know the plan
The name of Ayushman Bharat Yojana has changed and now the new name is 'Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-Chief Minister Yojana'. This is a health scheme, under which eligible people are given free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
Check whether you are eligible or not:-
Step 1
If you also want to know whether you can get benefits by joining this scheme, then first of all you have to check the eligibility, for which you have to go to the official portal of the scheme pmjay.gov.in.
Then click on 'Am I Eligible' and enter your mobile number.
Step 2
Now fill the OTP received on the mobile number and select your state from the two options that appear.
Then search by entering your mobile number and ration card number in the second option.
By doing this you will know whether you are eligible for the scheme or not.
Step 3
Then if you are eligible, you have to go to your nearest Janesava center and meet the concerned officer.
After this, you have to provide an Aadhar Card and other related documents, after which they are verified.
After the investigation is found correct, your application is submitted.
