If you have to travel somewhere, then you can travel by train. In this, you can travel from general coach to AC class. Provided you buy a train ticket which you can book online or offline. You can also travel long distances comfortably by train because the train has facilities from food to toilet etc. But one thing that is seen is that many trains run very late i.e. they get delayed and many trains are canceled, but do you know that you can get a refund for your ticket on the trains which get delayed? So let's know what is the rule for this. Passengers can know about this in the next slides...

What does the rule say?
If we talk about the rule, then according to the rule of Indian Railways, if a train is delayed by 3 hours or more, then the passenger can get a full refund of his ticket i.e. he can get the full money of the ticket back. For this, the passenger has to file a TDR of his ticket, after which the refund comes to his bank account.

This is how you can file TDR:-
Step 1

If a train is delayed by 3 hours or more, then you can file DTR, which will refund the full amount of the ticket.
For this, first of all, you have to go to the official website of IRCTC https://www.irctc.co.in/nget/train-search.

Step 2
After going to the website, you have to log in with the help of your ID password.
After logging in, you have to go to the 'My Account' section and click on the 'My Transaction' option.
After this, you have to click on 'File TDR'

Step 3
After this, you will see your booked ticket here
After this, you have to make a claim request
Then your request is accepted by the Railways and the entire money is refunded to your bank account.
