Other things like the name, age, address of the card holder are written on it, but many times people change their residence and they want to change their address in the Voter ID card, but they do not know the method. But here you can know the method by which you can change your address in Voter ID card sitting at home. So let's know...

This is the way to change the address:-
Step 1
If for some reason you also want to change your address in your Voter ID card, then you can change it.
For this, first of all you have to go to the National Voter Service Portal voterportal.eci.gov.in.

Step 2
On the portal you will see the option 'Shifting of residence/correction of entries in existing electoral roll/replacement of EPIC/marking of PwD'
Along with this you will see Form 8, on which you have to click.

Step 3
Then you have to create your account and login, after which you will get the option to make changes in the Voter ID card.
Here you have to select your state, city and Lok Sabha or Assembly.

Step 4
After this you have to fill other things including your electoral roll number, gender and parents' names.
Then you have to enter the new address, as well as fill the mobile number and email ID.
Now click on submit, after which your new address gets updated.
