Champions Trophy: Team India was undefeated in Border Gavaskar Trophy for the last decade but this time Team India has to face a crushing defeat in Border Gavaskar Trophy. The Australian team has ended its trophy drought after 10 years.

Australia has defeated the Indian team 3-1 in the Border Gavaskar series. After which now coach Gautam Gambhir is very angry and he can drop these players from the Champions Trophy to be held in February and March.

Rohit Sharma was dropped from the last match of Border Gavaskar

According to media reports, Gautam Gambhir had given a statement in the dressing room after the defeat in the Melbourne Test match that "Enough is enough now and now I will do my own thing." However, after that Rohit Sharma did not play in the fifth Test match. But even that did not make any difference in the result of Team India and after that now they can again remove these players from the team.

Gill and Jadeja may be out of Champions Trophy

Actually these players are none other than Team India's white ball vice-captain Shubman Gill and veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. Both of them have been struggling with poor form for some time, due to which Gambhir can drop these players. Gill is in the worst form of his career while Jadeja's form is not so bad but still Gambhir's choice is Washington Sundar, so he can get a chance in place of Jadeja.

Jaiswal can get a chance in place of Gill

Yashasvi Jaiswal can be given a chance in place of Gill. Ever since Jaiswal made his debut for Team India, he has been in great form and is scoring runs continuously. Due to which he can now get a chance in the ODI team as well. Jaiswal is the highest run-scorer for India in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. He has performed very well on his first Australian tour.
