All Ekadashi dates have special importance in Hinduism and there are 24 Ekadashi dates in a year, in which there is a law to worship differently. Ekadashi Tithi occurs twice in every month and mainly Vishnu is worshipped.
Nirjala Ekadashi in the month of Jyestha is considered the most important of any Ekadashi date. On this day people observe Nirjala Vrat for the whole day and worship Lord Vishnu.
This fast is observed every year on the Ekadashi day of Shukla Paksha of Jyestha month. Offer basil leaves in Bhog
If you offer Panjiri and Charanamrit to Lord Vishnu on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi and put some Tulsi leaves in it, then there will always be prosperity in your life and special blessings of Lord Vishnu will be received.
If you distribute Prasad to the whole family on this day after reciting the story of Ekadashi, it will be especially fruitful for you. By the way, it is believed that whenever offering food to Lord Vishnu, Tulsi Dal must be mixed in it. Tulsiji is considered to be the beloved of Lord Vishnu, so including her in the bhog is considered extremely beneficial.
Worship Tulsi
If you worship Tulsi along with Lord Vishnu on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, it will be especially fruitful for you. On this day you should worship Tulsi Mata with full makeup and perform her aarti.
With this you can get freedom from all sins and bad deeds can be done. To worship Tulsi, light a lamp in front of it and perform aarti. If you worship Tulsi according to the rules and regulations, then you will get benefited. But you have to keep in mind that on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, do not burn the Tulsi plant because on this day Mother Tulsi also observes Nirjala Vrat for Vishnu.
Do circumambulation of Tulsi
If you do 7 or 11 parikramas of Tulsi on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, it will be fruitful for you. On this day, after worshipping Mother Tulsi, do her aarti and circumambulate, so that your wishes can be fulfilled. While circumambulating Mata Tulsi on this day, also chant her mantras. Keep in mind that Tulsiparikrama should always be done in the right direction, it is not auspicious for you to circumambulate the Tulsi plant in the opposite direction.
Offer red chunri to Tulsi
If you are facing problems in your married life, then keep in mind that offer red chunri to mother Tulsi. Red chunri is considered a symbol of good luck, so by offering it in Tusli, the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi always remain on you, which is considered auspicious for your married life.
Chanting of mantras of Lord Vishnu
On the day of Nirjala Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning and after taking a bath, chant the mantra 'Om NamoBhagwateVasudevay' of Lord Vishnu. While chanting this mantra, if you worship Mother Tulsi, your prosperity will always be there. On this day, along with offering bhog to Vishnu ji, also offer bhog to the Tulsi plant, which will fulfil your wishes.
