Method to get a 100% refund:-
If ever a fraud happens to you, the first thing you have to do is inform the bank. The rule says that if you inform the bank within three working days (working days) of the fraud, then you have a 100% chance of getting your money back.
Just in this, you have to keep in mind that if you have been cheated due to your mistake or any negligence, then in such a situation the bank does not give you the money back.
How long does it take to get the money back?
Number 1
If you have informed the bank at the right time, then under the rules, the bank claims to return the money to you within 10 days. However, this money will be shadow credit in your account, which may take up to 90 days to reach your account.
Number 2
If you inform the bank about the fraud with you within 4 to 7 days, then according to RBI, even then the bank can return your money to you. However, in this case, you do not get 100% money back.
Number 3
You have been cheated and for some reason, if you complain about it to the bank after 7 days, then your chances of getting the money are slim to none. In this situation, the bank board itself decides whether the money will be returned to you or not.
