To please the seventh form of Maa Durga, you can offer her jaggery and dishes made of jaggery. If you want, you can make jaggery chikki for the blog of Maa Kalratri. Here we are going to tell you the method of preparing the blog.
Ingredients for making Jaggery Chikki
1 cup jaggery
1 cup roasted peanuts (peeled)
1 teaspoon ghee
Method
Making jaggery chikki at home is very easy. To prepare it, first of all, you have to roast the peanuts till they become crispy. After this, remove the peel of the roasted peanuts. The taste of chikki can be spoiled due to the peel.
After preparing the chikki, now heat some ghee in a heavy bottom pan and add jaggery to it. Melt it on low flame till the jaggery dissolves completely. When the jaggery melts and thickens, add peanuts to it and mix well. When it is completely mixed, turn off the gas.
After this, apply some ghee on a plain plate spread the prepared mixture, and make it thin with the help of a rolling pin. When the mixture cools down a little, cut it into the shape of your choice with a knife.
When it cools down completely, it will become hard. Now it is ready to be offered. Jaggery Chikki tastes sweet and crunchy and can be stored for a long time.
