- Chaturdashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month will start on May 3, Wednesday, at 11.49 pm.
- Chaturdashi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month will end at 11:44 pm on May 4, Thursday.
- In such a situation, according to UdayaTithi, the worship and fasting of Narasimha Jayanti will be done on Thursday, May 4.
Narasimha Jayanti 2023 auspicious time
- The auspicious time for worship on the day of Narasimha Jayanti is from 10.58 am to 1.38 pm.
- Whereas, the auspicious time for evening worship will be from 4:18 in the evening to 6:58 in the evening.
- The total duration of the puja is 3.5 hours in the morning and 2 hours 40 minutes in the evening.
Narasimha Jayanti 2023 Puja Vidhi
- On the day of Narasimha Jayanti, take a bath in holy water before sunrise and wear clean clothes.
- Then meditate on Lord Narasimha and Mother Lakshmi and take a vow of fasting.
- Chant the mantras of Lord Narasimha and make 11 rounds of his name.
- Offer coconut wrapped in red cloth to Lord Narasimha.
- Offer sweets, fruits, saffron, flowers and kumkum to Lord Narasimha.
- On the day of Narasimha Jayanti, recite Narasimha Stotra and offer food to God.
- At last, perform aarti and distribute bhog among the family as prasad.
