Apple has recently introduced its iPhone 15 series. The biggest change made in charging with the iPhone 15 is the inclusion of Type-C in it. However, with this change, a new problem has arisen for those iPhone users who are using Android phone chargers to charge the latest iPhone. Many users on social media are also complaining about the overheating of iPhones. Now Apple has issued a warning regarding this.

Apple told me why the iPhone is getting hot.
A report by Gizmo China says that an Apple Store in Foshan, Guangdong province has advised customers not to use Android USB-C cables to charge the iPhone 15. The store staff cited the different pin arrangement of both interfaces as the cause of overheating and advised not to do so.

He mentioned that using the Android cable could lead to overheating due to the slightly smaller gap between the single-line 9-pin and single-line 11-pin connectors compared to Apple's USB-C cable. It is worth noting that this warning has not been issued by just one Apple Store. According to a recent report by Chinese portal CNMO, several Apple-exclusive stores across China have issued similar warnings.

Although there has been no official comment on the issue by Apple, there has been a debate over whether this advisory reported from China is related to iPhone overheating or it is a matter of whether iPhone users are advised to use the company's own USB-C cable. Part of Apple's strategy is to encourage buying.

Third-party adapters can be dangerous
However, Apple has also issued a warning that not all third-party adapters meet these security standards, and the use of such adapters can potentially pose a serious risk to users' safety.
