Raw rice
Raw rice can contain many types of bacteria. These are called Bacillus cereus. These bacteria can survive even during the cooking of rice several times. They multiply on their own if rice is not stored properly, or if it is left out at room temperature for a long time. Because of these, food poisoning can happen.
Cooked rice
After cooking rice and eating it, the remaining rice should be stored in the refrigerator within 1-2 hours. If it is left at room temperature for a long time, it can cause bacteria to multiply which can lead to food-borne diseases. Due to this, you may have diarrhea, acidity and many other problems related to the stomach.
Reheat rice
If you are eating rice after heating it again, then keep in mind that the rice should be completely hot. The heating temperature should be such that it can kill all the bacteria present in it. However, it is also not right to heat the rice again and again. This can increase bacterial growth. That's why it is important to use the reheated rice immediately.
Weight loss and rice
Before cooking rice, it should be thoroughly washed with salt water. If you do not eat rice for fear of gaining weight, then you should eat parboiled rice. Apart from this, take care of the quantity of rice as well. If you eat less amount of rice with more vegetables, pulses and salad, then it will not affect your weight.
