The name of this scheme is 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana', which was started by the Delhi Government. Under this scheme, a woman above 18 years of age from Delhi will be given one thousand rupees every month.
These women can get benefits:-
Housewives who do not get government pension
Girls who study in schools and colleges
Women who work in the unorganized sector
Women whose salary does not come under the tax net etc.
When can one thousand rupees come into the bank account?
The scheme was announced on March 4 this month. But now people will have to wait for the money to come. Delhi Government Finance Minister Atishi had informed during a conversation with news agency PTI that the Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana will be implemented by September-October this year. He also said that this scheme will be notified after the Lok Sabha Elections Model Code of Conduct is lifted.
From this, it can be understood that it will take 6 months for the scheme to start. In such a situation, when the scheme will be started after such a long time, it may take one or two months or more to get the benefits. Therefore, for now, the women of Delhi will have to wait for one thousand rupees.
