Fenugreek must have been used a lot in vegetables and parathas, but have you tried its pulao? If not, then learn here the recipe for making tasty pulao without onion and garlic.

Material :
1 basmati rice, 2 cups fenugreek leaves, 1/2 coriander finely chopped, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic grated, 1-2 green chilies finely chopped, 1/2 cup green peas, 1/2 cup green capsicum chopped, 1 tomato finely chopped, 1/2 cup cabbage finely chopped, 2 tsp oil, 1/2 tsp cumin, 1/4 tsp asafoetida, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, salt as per taste, 2 tsp pav bhaji masala

Method :
Wash the rice and soak it in water for about 30 minutes.

Cut the fenugreek leaves and wash them thoroughly so that the soil etc. on them gets cleaned.

Put 6-7 cups of water in a large vessel for boiling. Now add soaked rice, green peas, and salt to it. Let it cook for 10-12 minutes without covering it.

When the rice is cooked well, drain out the extra water. Take out this cooked rice in a big utensil and spread it.

Now put oil in a pan and heat it. As soon as the oil becomes hot, apply the tempering of cumin, asafoetida, green chilies, and ginger in it.

After frying for a few seconds, add fenugreek leaves and cook. Now it is the turn to add coriander, capsicum, cabbage, and tomato. Let all this cook till the tomatoes become soft. After this, mix turmeric, salt, garam masala, and pav bhaji masala in it.

After this, reduce the flame of the gas and mix the cooked rice. Mix everything well.

Switch off the gas and serve Methi Pulao hot.
