If your luggage is left behind while traveling on a train. In this situation, you have to go to the station where you got down. After this, you will have to give information about the lost luggage to the railway officials.
Apart from this, you will also have to give information about this to the Railway Police Force. If the luggage is not found, in this case, you have to go to RPF and register an FIR.
After doing this, the RPF police personnel will search for your luggage in the concerned train in which you had forgotten while traveling. If the policeman finds the lost luggage, then the luggage will be delivered to the station where you had lodged the FIR.
After this, the railway officer will call the passenger and return the luggage to him after checking some of his important documents. Railways find a large number of unclaimed luggage every year. Complaints of these lost luggage are also not registered with the railways.
