The highest amount of money is given in Rajasthan for marriage in India. 10 lakh rupees are given by the Rajasthan government for inter-caste marriage. The Rajasthan government promotes inter-caste marriages to increase social equality in the state. That is why people who marry in different castes are given this incentive by the government.

Earlier this amount was Rs 5 lakh. Which has now been increased to Rs 10 lakh. This amount is given by the Rajasthan government under the Doctor Savita Ben Ambedkar Intercaste Modified Marriage Scheme. In the scheme, the first 5 lakh rupees are kept in fixed deposit for 8 years. And the remaining 5 lakh rupees are sent to the joint bank account of both.

This much money is given in UP

The Uttar Pradesh government also gives financial assistance to the poor and needy for marriage. Under this scheme run by the Uttar Pradesh government, daughters belonging to poor families are given Rs 51 thousand by the government for marriage.

These people get the benefit

Under the UP government scheme, all poor families of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Other Backward Class, Minority and General category are given this amount. Under the scheme, the annual income of the beneficiary family should not exceed Rs 46080. In urban areas, this income should not be more than 56460 rupees.

Assistance is given in Madhya Pradesh
