When I applied lipstick in the morning while getting ready, I got the perfect pout, but suddenly by afternoon, I had to face dry, dull, and discolored lips. However, such complaints are not only faced by two or four but almost everyone. Many women experience daily that their lipstick fades within a few hours. Also, you are not able to go for a touch-up again. Lipsticks are meant to stay bright and bring color to your face instead of fading your complexion. But don't worry, here are some easy ways that will make your lipstick last longer and give you glossy lips forever.

Special tips to make lipstick last longer:
Exfoliate and Moisturize

When it comes to lipstick, it is not just to look beautiful in the picture but it is also important to keep the health of your lips healthy. For this, after brushing your teeth at night, clean the crust with a mild exfoliator on your lips. The skin of the lips is very sensitive, so you have to use a very gentle exfoliator. There are many types of lip scrubs available in the market. Choose the one which is best for you.

After exfoliation comes moisturizing in the lips. Moisturizing your lips is as important as moisturizing your face or neck. This process will help the lipstick go on smoothly the next morning. Apply lip balm or petroleum jelly and leave it on overnight or before applying lipstick.

Use concealer as a lip primer
Concealer works great as a lip primer. Well, this is a tried and tested thing. Outline your lips with concealer and gently pat it all over. Concealer acts as a lip primer. It will also help prevent any spillage and smudges at the edges of your lips. The sheerness of the lipstick around the edges makes it last longer for you.

Use a brush to apply
When you apply your lipstick with a brush, it lasts longer. That's why use a brush to apply lipstick. By applying lipstick directly on your lips in one or two strokes, your lipstick will not stay. Use a lip brush and apply the color in the center of your top and bottom lips first. After this, starting from the edges and gradually coming to the middle, the filling comes into your lower lips. Do the same with the upper lip. Take care to fill properly around the edges of the lips. Applying lipstick like this with a brush makes it last longer.

Puff and tissue trick
After applying lipstick, take a wad of tissue, place it between your lips, and press firmly. This technique will help absorb all that excess product that's aimlessly lingering on your lips. Now take another tissue and apply it to your lips. Dust your lips with translucent powder using a tissue, and then apply a final layer of lipstick to the center of your lips. This little trick helps seal in the color without leaving your lips dry and flaky.

Use pencil liner
After applying lipstick, outline your lips with a pencil liner. It is advisable to use a shade of nude color so that your lips can be recognized better. It will highlight your lips more.
