Here's a delicious macaroni salad recipe for your special occasion:

Ingredients:

2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon white vinegar

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper

1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper

1/2 cup finely chopped celery

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions until it's al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. This will be the dressing for your macaroni salad.

Add the cooked and cooled macaroni to the bowl with the dressing. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly.

Add the chopped red bell pepper, green bell pepper, celery, red onion, and parsley to the bowl. Gently mix everything together until all the ingredients are well combined.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible. Chilling the salad will allow the flavors to meld together and make it more delicious.

Before serving, give the macaroni salad a quick toss to redistribute the dressing. You can garnish with some additional parsley if desired.
